Camping

Team Nelson spent the weekend Camping at Curt Gowdy State Park. We went camping with a big group of our friends. There were 5 kids - Annika being the oldest at 2 1/2 and 4 dogs. And somehow the trip still managed to be fairly relaxing. The dogs shown below (Boss on the left and Toby on the right) really enjoyed their time swimming in the lake. Don't they make a great team? I think I threw the stick in for Boss at least 100 times. . . Toby got bored after about 80 throws and went back to chasing gophers.

This was Annika's second camping trip (her first was when she was 6 months old) and she seemed to enjoy it. Although she did state this morning "I want to go home!" Here is a picture of her eating a roasted marshmallow.

In the picture below Annika and Stephen were having loads of fun by the light of the fire! It was a great weekend with great friends!
