Progress. . . Steady progress

The basement progress is steadily continuing. I think Stephen said the walls are 80% drywalled, the ceiling about 98%, and I think we are ready for a weekend off. This weekend my parents (Gramma/Grampa Kirens as Annika calls them) came to town and Stephen and I were able to spend many hours in the basement while they chased Annika around upstairs (OK we put them to work in the basement some too! Thanks Mom and Dad.)

Here are some updated photos:

And a picture of Annika in her cute new outfit from Grandma & Grandpa Kiren to end this post. Annika has changed so much in the past 6 weeks. She's turning into quite the little girl. Always singing and dancing, she loves nothing more than to make us laugh. She likes to sing songs such as "The Wheels on the Bus", "Hokie Pokie", "Catch a falling star, put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day", and many many others.

I'm so impressed with your basement finishing skills! Looks awesome. And Annika is just so cute, love that shot.

Wow - it doesn't even look like the same place. I can't wait to come visit.
